Weekly Outfit Recap | Oct 27–Nov 2, 2025
Cozy neutrals, soft textures, and a full heart at home.
This week felt steady and full, the kind of week that reminded me why I love this season. Brant was home for part of it, my kids filled the house with laughter and friends, and Anchorage officially decided it’s coat weather. Every morning started with dark coffee and ended with cozy layers, and somewhere in between, I managed to balance comfort, warmth, and style.
Chocolate brown became my unofficial uniform. I didn’t plan on it, but each day seemed to pull me toward soft knits, deep tones, and easy silhouettes. Maybe it’s the shorter days or just wanting to feel grounded, but this week’s outfits were all about warmth, inside and out.
Monday, October 27
Mood: Cozy, slow start, soaking in home time
I started the week in full comfort mode: chocolate brown Abercrombie sweater (L), matching lounge pants (XL), and UGG Tasman platforms. I layered with my Free People swing denim jacket and dressed it up a bit with hoops, necklaces, and stacked bracelets. Cozy never looked this intentional.
Tuesday, October 28
Mood: Grounded, pulled together, easing into the week
I wore my oversized chocolate Amazon cardigan open over a white tank, paired with Gap Factory cropped wide-leg jeans, Madewell chocolate suede flats, and a skinny leopard print belt. A mix of texture and tone that felt easy and smart, my kind of teacher ‘fit.
Wednesday, October 29
Mood: Comfy confidence, midweek groove
A new favorite combo: cropped denim shirt from Gap tucked into Abercrombie Sloan wide-leg trousers in tan brown with brown Adidas suede Sambas. A little casual, a little crisp, and a lot of “I’ve got this.”
Thursday, October 30
Mood: Classic, cozy, and slightly rebellious for skipping a costume
Halloween week at school is wild, so I stuck with something that felt like me: cream Abercrombie crewneck sweater (XL), Madewell leopard print barrel-leg jeans, and Madewell brown ankle boots. I may not have had a costume, but I was still festive in my own way.
Friday, October 31 - Halloween
Mood: Playful, festive, cozy at home
For Halloween itself, I wore my “6-7” graphic tee from teacher and creator Phil Lindsay, layered with an Aerie tan cardigan and Gap Factory wide-leg jeans. On my feet? Tan UGG platforms. I stayed in the same outfit for trick-or-treaters because it was too good (and too comfy) to change.
Saturday, November 1
Mood: Rested, happy, girls’ night energy
I had a mani-pedi in the morning, ran errands, and ended the night celebrating two of my best friends. I wore my Aerie chocolate brown quarter-button sweatshirt with matching leggings and UGG platforms. Simple, monochromatic, and exactly the right mix of comfort and confidence.
Final Thoughts:
This week reminded me that sometimes the simplest color palette can make getting dressed easier… and more fun. I felt comfortable, confident, and grounded, which is exactly how I want to move through the rest of fall.
Here’s to another week of outfits that feel like home, a closet that works as hard as I do, and the perfect mix of comfort and confidence. Shop the week here or come hang out on Instagram.
