FNF actually started as a way to highlight the unique fashion in Alaska—I used to take photos of elders and my high school students wearing everything from Alaska Native kuspuks to Xtratufs with dresses. But when I didn’t have content to share, I’d have my husband snap pics of my daily outfits just to keep posting consistently (because posting often = growth). Turns out, those outfit photos of me got way more traction than the ones I took of others. I also realized I could actually monetize my looks through Like to Know It, so I applied three times before finally getting accepted. And just like that—Far North Fashion evolved into what it is today!
