Weekly Outfit Recap | September 21–27, 2025
Comfy Wins, Blazer Days, and Fall Layers
From Seahawks spirit sweats to wool jackets and Chelsea boots, this week had a mix of cozy, classic, and a little back-to-school spirit. Here’s what I wore each day:
Sunday, September 21
Outfit: Seahawks sweatshirt from Abercrombie (last year’s version, but I linked a similar crewneck this season), wide-leg sweatpants from Abercrombie, and my trusty Vionic slippers.
Mood: Game-day chill.
Why I wore it: The Seahawks played and won, so I stayed home and kept it cozy.
Monday, September 22
Outfit: Quince cardigan layered over a Spanx camisole, Abercrombie Sloan wide-leg trousers, and brown Adidas sneakers
Mood: Smooth start.
Why I wore it: Monday was long with work and kids’ piano lessons. I needed comfort but still wanted to feel pulled together.
Tuesday, September 23
Outfit: Open Edit tan blazer over a black Open Edit satin tee, new-to-me Madewell barrel-leg jeans, and black Madewell loafers.
Mood: Midweek boss.
Why I wore it: Tuesday was stacked with meetings and errands, so a blazer made me feel sharp without trying too hard.
Wednesday, September 24
Outfit: Oversized chocolate brown blazer from Nordstrom layered over a white tank, tan horseshoe pants from Gap, and chocolate brown Madewell suede ballet flats.
Mood: Coffee shop chic.
Why I wore it: Wednesday was busy but I wanted to look polished. I love how a blazer instantly elevates even a simple tank-and-pants combo.
Thursday, September 25
Outfit: Gap Factory cardigan over a black-and-white striped shirt, new-to-me Gap Factory 90 straight cuffed jeans, and white Adidas Sambas with black stripes.
Mood: Classic comfort.
Why I wore it: Thursday was a regular school day, and I wanted something easy to move in. This combo felt casual but put together.
Friday, September 26
Outfit: Eddie Bauer wool jacket (scored at the outlet and still on sale online), NUUDS white tee, Abercrombie ankle-length jeans, and Sam Edelman Laguna Chelsea boots in black.
Mood: Staff spirit.
Why I wore it: Friday was Spirit Day and staff wore black. Temps have dropped into the 40s, so this was my first wool-jacket day of the season.
Saturday, September 27
Outfit: Chocolate brown sweats from Gap (sold separately), Nike Cortez sneakers, Lululemon Always Effortless jacket, and my Longchamp-inspired Amazon crossbody.
Mood: Rainy-day reset.
Why I wore it: Saturday was gray and rainy, perfect for housework, laundry, and cozying up. I still showered and got dressed, but comfort was the goal.soaking up those final family moments.
Final Thoughts:
Last week was a whirlwind — early mornings, long school days, open house, and family gatherings that stretched late into the night. What made it easier was choosing outfits that felt good for each moment, whether that meant leaning on third layers in the classroom or soft denim with stretch for a feast at the grill.
Getting dressed with intention reminded me that style isn’t about perfection. It’s about finding what works in the middle of real life — comfort when you need it, polish when it matters, and a little personality sprinkled throughout. That balance carried me through a week that was both exhausting and full of joy.
Here’s to another week of outfits that keep me grounded, flexible, and ready for whatever’s next. Shop the week here or come hang out on Instagram.
