Weekly Outfit Recap | Easy Looks, Dirty Hair, and a Barrel Leg Jeans
April 21-25, 2025
This past week felt like a deep breath after a crazy stretch of contest season, travel, and living my life like a full-time high school choir director again. For the first time in forever, I had no after-school rehearsals, no evening concerts, and no weekend events — just normal, everyday life. And let me tell you, it felt so good.
This week’s outfits were all about easy comfort that still felt like me. I thought I hadn't touched a single pair of barrel leg jeans all week... but after scrolling through my camera roll, turns out I squeezed a few in after all. Here’s the full breakdown:
Monday:
- Cap toe flats
- J.Crew jeans
- Always a blazer (because why not)
- Side note: If you ever catch my hair slicked back, it’s probably because I was out of time, energy, and dry shampoo.
Tuesday:
- Adidas Sambas
- Abercrombie cream jeans
- Denim shirt layered over a tank
 Classic, casual, and so easy.
Wednesday:
- Green linen blazer
- Monochromatic black underneath
- Madewell chunky leather loafers
One of those outfits that feels like you tried (but didn’t).
Thursday:
- Anthropologie Colette wide-leg jeans
- Super cute Anthropologie top
- Embellished cream flats
I felt very "day date chic" in this one.
Friday:
- Breezy oversized button-up layered over a tank
- Easy ankle jeans
- Birkenstock clogs
Basically ready for errands, lounging, or school pickup…buuuut I wore it to work
- Black and cream striped cardigan
- Skinny black belt
- Cream Madewell barrel leg jeans (okay, barrel legs did make an appearance!)
- Madewell flats
It gave PTA meeting energy, but we actually ended up dancing and it worked!
Saturday:
- Abercrombie sweatshirt
- Pull-on Gap barrel leg jeans (new-to-me)
- Navy Sambas
- Navy 907 hat (to cover up dirty hair again — stay consistent, friends.)
The Takeaway?
Comfort is queen, even if you sneak in a few barrel leg moments without realizing it. And yes, I’m still avoiding washing my hair as long as possible. Priorities.
